A celebration of Contemporary art in a beautiful English garden.
We are showing our work at the Fresh Air sculpture show that opens this weekend, as part of a curated collection in the Pool House Gallery.
The indoor gallery space will be filled with jewellery, ceramics, glasswork, mosaics, textiles and wood.Everything has been made specially for the show.
Almost 200 pieces of sculpture will be on display in the beautiful gardens by over 100 sculptors and artists.
Colin has recently been exploring the countryside as a source of inspiration, be it the setting sun over the Cotswold fields or lichens on a stone wall. By recording these impressions he challenges himself to incorporate and convey them within his latest glass collections.
Flowing through the Cotswolds the river Coln is host to many species of wildlifeand plant lifealong its 33 miles. The river flows through Lechlade, Bibury and the Old Rectorygarden and grounds in Quenington where the wonderful sculpture show is held biannually.
For this show Louise has created sand carved pieces featuring the native species of flora and fauna that rely on the ecosystems and habitats that the river provides.. Trout swim beneath marsh marigolds, dragonflies dart amongst the wildflowers, yellow wagtails perch on willow boughs.
We have a limited number of private view tickets left for Saturday 15th June.
